Cooperation begins with the first meeting and admission to the nursery school or nursery. Parents will provide us with important information and share their ideas about the principle of education. Thanks to the fact that each teacher has only a small group of children, he or she can give them full individual care and thus the adaptation in the new environment is pleasant for your child.
Openness to families should be reflected in a friendly atmosphere and in the possibility to actively participate in the running of the nursery school and crèche. It is very valuable for us to hear your opinion, idea, response to education and we will appreciate it if you share everything with us.
We organize an individual pedagogical-psychological evaluation of the child with the parents, where we evaluate the overall course of education, the child's personality and look for the next step in education.

We communicate with parents in a modern and simple way. You can find out what is happening in our kindergartens using the application.
Parents can find all the news and the progress of the day in the Twigsee app. Several times a week, the teachers give the parents information about what is going on in the kindergarten, so you can easily find out if, for example, you need to bring something. You can simply excuse your child from attendance with just a few clicks.
We constantly try to discover the talents and gifts of our children, each of our teachers is trained in how to work with children in this direction.
Research shows that a child's brain establishes 75% of all neuronal synapses by the age of 7 - and a full 50% will be formed by the age of 5. That is why he cooperates with the Talent Centre and also with Children's Mensa.
Our kindergartens are exclusively involved in Jamie Oliver's global foundation and his Food Revolution Day project.
We want to show children that healthy food can be fun, that vegetables can also taste good, and above all we want them to understand the meaning of why they should eat healthy. We also regularly cook according to Jamie Oliver in our hobby group the cooking club
We are happy that our kindergartens and nurseries are part of this wonderful project.
In our kindergarten, we read to the children every day and not just once. Regular reading contributes to the child's emotional development, develops language, memory and imagination. However, the main thing is that it forms reading habits in children and thus supports the acquisition of knowledge throughout life. Reading takes place both in the native language and in English.
We regularly visit the zoo with the children throughout the year.
Thanks to this, the children have a unique opportunity to see all the animals that we talk about throughout the year, and we also discover new animals.
We are currently discussing the adoption of an animal at the Prague Zoo.
Our kindergartens regularly carry out visits to the botanical garden, including participation in lectures and open-air events.
The lecturers from the botanical garden always prepare a tailor-made interactive program for us with lots of visual demonstrations, so that the children are actively involved, they can see and touch everything. Excursions, exhibitions and programs in the botanical garden are among the most popular of our events outside the premises of the nursery school for both children and teachers.
Mateřská škola Trojská labuť úzce spolupracuje se státní základní školou Trojská, která sídlí kousek od naší pobočky v Praze v Troji.
Pro žáky školy zajišťujeme výuku anglického jazyka, doučování nebo přípravu na testy a přijímací řízení. Intenzivní výuku anglického jazyka v odpoledních hodinách nabízí oblíbená Anglická družina, kde žáci procvičují a více rozšiřují základní dovednosti získané z hodin angličtiny při běžné výuce, zábavnou a hravou formou.
PED Academy (Primary Education Academy) deals with the development and education of children of younger school age.
All over Prague, they have bilingual classes in state primary schools. This is a sophisticated concept where the child is educated bilingually from the first grade. From the beginning, the children are taught by a native English speaker and a Czech native teacher. PED has developed a comprehensive concept of the educational program, including the teaching of the English language and other own subjects.Our children are preferentially admitted to their classes due to their excellent language skills.
As part of our kindergarten, we regularly organize lectures and fun programs focusing on dental hygiene.
Everything is conducted in a playful and interactive way. Certified instructors regularly teach our teachers the correct technique of brushing their teeth, so that they can provide children with optimal care for their teeth and their oral cavity. The programs also include checking the children's teeth by a dental hygienist, who comes to us once every six months.
It is a matter of course that teeth are cleaned daily in the kindergarten after lunch. Every teacher is trained as a dental hygienist and knows how children should brush their teeth properly. We use poems, motor exercises and songs to teach all children the correct basics of dental hygiene.
From 1.1.2021 – 31.12.2022, our kindergarten implements the project "CZ.07.4.68/0.0/0.0/19_071/0001965 - Inclusion of children with a different mother tongue in the kindergarten collective and cooperation with parents", which is co-financed by the European Union. The project is focused on the personal and professional development of teachers, facilitating the transition of children from kindergarten to primary school and cooperation with parents of children and pupils. The total amount of support amounts to CZK 677,675.
From September 1, 2019 – December 19, 2021, our kindergarten is the implementer of the project "CZ.02.3.68/0.0/0.0/18_064/0015492 - Development of project activities for children, polytechnic education and the use of ICT in teaching", which is co-financed by the European Union. The project is focused on the personal and professional development of teachers, facilitating the transition of children from kindergarten to primary school and cooperation with parents of children and pupils. The total amount of support amounts to CZK 446,636.
From August 1, 2017 – July 31, 2019, our kindergarten is the implementer of the project "CZ.02.3.68/0.0/0.0/16_023/0005970 - Development of professional competences of teaching staff and development of cooperation with parents in the school environment", which is co-financed by the European Union. The project is focused on the personal and professional development of teachers, facilitating the transition of children from kindergarten to primary school and cooperation with parents of children and pupils. The total amount of support amounts to CZK 327,196.
